Originally housed on the second floor of St. Richard Church the school outgrew its space and moved to 2900 Bedford Ave in 1907. By the 1950’s the school became predominately African American and renamed as St. Benedict the Moor School in 1978 by the Catholic Diocese. The school relocated to Watt Street in 2011 when it combined with St. Agnes school. |
